Frank Delaney's main character is very likable and real, and about as far from one-dimensional as one can be. Stil while the storytelling is grand and the language of the book is elegantly beautiful, my favorite thing would have to be the stories within the story that are told by either John Jacob Farrel O'Neill or Ben MacCarthy himself. They were among my favorite parts of the book, and probably the most elegant of all the writings.Netherlandhttp://born2beperfect.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3163059411636644986.post-24117554322529785442012-02-25T19:53:45.665-07:002012-02-25T19:53:45.665-07:00I've never heard of this book, but it sure sou...I've never heard of this book, but it sure sounds good. I don't have any experience reading Irish stories, so The Last Storyteller would be the perfect book to broaden my reading scope.Aikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07120383471104483739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3163059411636644986.post-24614176746419117032012-02-25T07:02:12.097-07:002012-02-25T07:02:12.097-07:00I have heard good things about this book, or his o...I have heard good things about this book, or his other books (I can't recall). I adore Ireland and the Irish to the point that I'd love to move there one day and live the rest of my life in Ireland. Ben sounds like a wonderfully kind man. and this sounds like a captivating story!Amyhttp://homeofaimala.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3163059411636644986.post-45452534440016988962012-02-24T07:08:53.601-07:002012-02-24T07:08:53.601-07:00Sounds like a really good read.
