My daughters introduced me to this amazing poet through youtube. I love listening to her lovely, lyrical voice as she speaks her poetry and, through those words, paints pictures. In this poem, called Montauk, we learn about her summers as a child. Although I've never been to Montauk, my childhood summers were remarkably similar. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do:
