Why I Love ... Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Alexis over at reflections of a bookaholic. Each Wednesday is an opportunity to explore a different aspect of literature and why I love it. Today's topic: Favorite Place to Read.

This is a tricky one for me. I love to read wherever I find a book, but if I have to pick a favorite ... I love to cuddle up on my comfy couch, light the fireplace and cocoon with a good read. Of course this really only applies to non-summer/hot weather. I happen to live where we have a huge overabundance of non-summer/hot weather so it works for me.

When I bought my couch I made sure it was one of those squishy, fluffy, comfy ones. Then I put it in front of the fireplace, beside the window and placed a side table right beside where I like to sit. Now I can snuggle in and I have a great place to put snacks and tea, and I can check out the window when the dog barks, to see what is going on. Once I settle in, there is no reason to move except one. If I could only figure out how to move the whole setup to the bathroom.
